Campus Crusade for Christ is an international and interdenominational movement, taking the role as para-church, it is committed to helping the church take the gospel of Jesus Christ to all nations. There are 16,000 fulltime staff members doing ministries in 190 different countries worldwide. Malaysia Campus Crusade for Christ started in year 1968, and there are around 100 staff members stationed in Penang, Klang Valley, Johor and East Malaysia, doing different kind of ministries.
I am one of the staffs under the Campus Ministry and will be doing Campus Media Ministry. My duty is using media to help the campus ministry to reach the students more effectively, and help them know the Gospel. I see how God desires to use media and let the youths know Him through that, and I believe God wants me to apply my broadcasting knowledge I learned in my college to help build His Kingdom.
Though I will do my best in my position, I also acknowledge the limitation of doing it on my own. Teamwork is an important element of experiencing spiritual refreshment: I need a team to work with me, to watch over me and share the fruits of the ministry I do. I believe you understand that I need someone like you to support me in prayer and finance. This is also a part of fulfilling the Great Commission of the Lord and brings others to Christ. The financial policy of Campus Crusade for Christ is that every staff members have to develop a Financial and Prayer Support Team to support his personal ministry.
